It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Leaphart of Blythe, Georgia, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Lou McPhee Leaphart and Cordell Leaphart; his siblings, Virginia Gibson and Donald Leaphart; and his great grandchild Miracle Hodge.

He is survived by: his daughters, Terina Jean Huffman (Patrick) and Rachel Scritchfield (Norman); his grandchildren, Mandi Debow, Kristen Taylor (J. T.), Holly Thompson, Trey Scritchfield, Star Scritchfield (Justin), Patrick Huffman, Jr. (Jennifer), Jeremy Huffman (Taylor), Kayla Bosch (Deryl), Macey LaFontaine (Chase) and Kayley Bolton; and his siblings, Buddy Leapheart, Marina Mixon and Carolyn Adams.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors (2520 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
