She is survived by: her husband Marion "Buddy" Gates; her son Dean Gates of Blythe; her nieces, Becky Thomas (Ben) and Renee Moxley (Destanee); her nephew Jimbo Gates (Theresa); and her cousin Karen Johnson (Bo Johnson). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
