He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Ruby Lee Fisher McDaniel; and his brothers, Carl, David and Robert McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his grandchildren, Kayla Nazerian (Stephen), Austin Vest, Abby Vest, Annabelle McDaniel, Mason McDaniel, John McDaniel Jr., Julianne McDaniel, Marshall McDaniel, Allie Potts and Carter Potts; his great grandchildren, Maggie, Millie and Max Nazerian; and his sister Charlotte Hunter (Paul).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of McCaysville McCaysville Chapel (1478 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Crestlawn Cemetery (2597-2491 Mobile Rd, Copperhill, TN 37317).
