He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKinley Postell and Jane McArthur Postell; his grandson Samuel Oliver Postell; and his siblings, Burlin Postell, Jesse Postell, Arvil Postell, Ella Mae Williamson and Georgia Postell.
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Ann Postell; his son Harold; his daughter-in-law Lynn Postell; his grandsons, Trey Postell (Katie Rose) and Wesley Postell; and his great grandchildren, Claire Postell and Deacon Postell.
