He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Cannaday and Catherine Louise McCallister Cannaday; and his wife Betty Davis Cannaday. He is survived by: his children, Bill Cannaday (Rose Cannaday), William Armstrong III, Robert Armstrong (Jan Armstrong), Renee Talley (Robert Talley), Alisha Hucks, Janet Moore (Stephen Moore), Betty Ann Foster (Wayne Foster) and Mary K. Riggs (Bobby Garland). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
