She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Griggs; her siblings, Hoyle Welch, Kenneth "Nig" Welch, Walter "Dutch" Welch, Tommy Welch, Billie Gantt and Bernice Goss; her granddaughter Amanda Brooke Lewis; and her stepdaughter Shirley Panter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lora Griggs Lewis (Sam) and Claudette Griggs Earley; her sister Dorothy Jean Livingston; her stepdaughters, Jo Ann Clifford and Barbara Kimsey; her grandchildren, Barron Earley (Kim) and Samantha Pugh (Titus); and her great grandchildren, Jamison Earley, Drake Pugh, Shayla Pugh and Toccoa Pugh.
