He was predeceased by: his parents, Landy Eavenson and Minnie Ella Layne Eavenson; his wife Lois M. Gregwire Eavenson; and his son Doug Freed. He is survived by: his children, Paul L. (Debbie Eavenson), Dale L. (Sheila Eavenson) and Randy L. Eavenson (Mary Williamson) of Blue Ridge, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
