He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lucious and Helen Jeanette Gibson Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Walker; his children, Angela Walker of Blue Ridge, GA, Jodie Rider of Mineral Bluff, GA and Shane Walker of Blue Ridge, GA; and his brother Alex Simpson of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
