She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spencer Patterson and Ella Elizabeth Dunn Patterson; her husband Poley Gordon Campbell; her children, David Campbell, Andy Campbell, Paulette Campbell and Ruth Ann Key; her grandson Timmy Walden; and her siblings, Claude Higdon, Roy Higdon, Marie Ballew, Lake Patterson, Helen Bailey, Les Patterson, Calvin Patterson, Flora Mae Rogers, Clyde Patterson, Carl Patterson and Glen Patterson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jerri Walden of Epworth and Wanda Campbell of Morganton; and her grandchildren, Tammy Walden, Tony Key, Chuck Key, Joseph Walden, Megan Cheatham and Sarah Taylor. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
