She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy S. Godfrey and Beulah Patterson Godfrey; her husband Dennis L. Wilson, Sr.; her sister Clara Godfrey Bowling Sisson; her nephew Billy Bowling; and her brothers-in-law, Billy Wayne Bowling and Ray Lynn Sisson.
She is survived by: her daughter Joy Stiles (Roger) of Epworth, Lori; her grandchildren, Dennis Lee Wilson, Jr. (Becky) of Ellijay, Jon Wilson (Julie) of Farner and Margaret Alice Wilson of McCaysville; her sisters, Margie Roland (Jim) of Broomfield, CO, Margaret Fisher of Woodstock, GA and Karen Land (Mackey) of Murphy, NC; her siblings-in-law, Adonna Lickliter (George) of Beuna Vista, GA, Bill Wilson (Fredrica) of Turtletown and James Wilson (Mary Jo) of Young Harris, GA.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Green (Brandon), Brandon Stiles (Alesha), Amanda Kern (Derek), Noah Wilson, Maggie Wilson, Ivie Wilson, Iris Wilson, Ireland Wilson and Janie Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Jailyn Wright, Jordyn-Rae Green, Charlee Kern, Thor Kern, Karleigh-Jayne Stiles, Bonnie Stiles and Vincent Johnson. She is also survived by four children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or to the First United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund.
