He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Vester Davenport and Beulah Mann Davenport; and his children, Doris Davenport, James Davenport and Glen Coy Davenport.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Melton Davenport; and his children, Peggy Long, Aline Davenport, Kennon Davenport and Clinton Davenport (Sandra). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
