He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Beatrice Moody Bearden and Hoke Smith Bearden; his children, Becky Bearden Tuggle and Russell Troy Bearden; and his brother Keith Bearden.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Charlotte Tuggle and Natalie Shelor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
