He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Montgomery and Bessie Waters Montgomery; his siblings, Irene Hancock, Helen Allred, Pauline Callihan, Pearl Prichett, Evelyn Smith and William Montgomery; and his friend Lee Davis.

He is survived by: his friends, Ken Jones and Glen Callihan; his wife Imogene Callihan Montgomery; his daughter Brenda; and his son-in-law Ken Jones of Blue Ridge, GA.
