He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gorges Sr. and Marguerite Cox; and his sister Marguerite Crowie. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gorges; and his children, Dennis Gorges (Rainey), Steven Gorges (Patricia), John Gorges (Julie), Donna Wilson (Mike) and Connie Spires. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
