He is survived by: his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Tim Wright of Hillsboro, TN; his sons, Danny R. Thurman of Chatsworth, GA and Christopher Thurman of Blue Ridge, GA; his grandchildren, Brad, Jacob, Daniel Wright, Toni Thurman, Eli Thurman and Evan Thurman; his great grandchildren, Melissa Thurman, Jameson Thurman, Trinton Thurman, Neal Wright and Alan Wright; and his siblings, Jeanette (Robert Key), Virginia (Dale Cochran), Sarah (Dale Kaylor), Cathy Patterson of Ellijay, GA, Bill, Deb Thurman of Blairsville, GA and Alan Thurman of Benton, TN..
