It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kermit Helton (Blue Ridge, Georgia), who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has established the James K. Helton Memorial Scholarship at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for a member of The Pride of the Southland Band Majoring in Music.
