He is survived by: his children, Jeanne McDonald (Edward), James Christopher Dockery and Joy Tillman (Mitchell); his sisters, Frances Henderson (Harold) and Jessie Davis (Ricky); his grandchildren, Christian Wilson, Jade Chambers, Asia Hortman, Braeden Carter and Hudson Tillman; and his nephew Tommy Dockery.
