He was predeceased by: his daughter Deborah Lynn Hughes; his parents, James C. Lamb, Sr. and Orie Ione Brown Lamb; and his siblings, William Allan Lamb, Elizabeth, Mary Francis, Jean, Ernestine and Gloria (Cookie).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Roberts Lamb; his children, James C. Lamb, III of Flowery Branch, Mary Discher (Dean) of Lakeville and Cindy Garrison (Tim) of Wilsonville; his son-in-law Kenny Hughes of Lawrenceville; his grandchildren, Lauren Hughes Bender, Dorothy Nicole Hughes Palmer and Samuel Garrison; his great grandchildren, Chase, Corbin, Emmett Bender and Levi Palmer; his brother Reverend Robert Paul (Bobby); his sister-in-law Debbie Lamb; his sister Catherine; and his brother-in-law Rabun Marchman.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to their favorite charity or their local Marine Corps League (Toys for Tots).
