He was predeceased by: his wife Montez Holbrooks Raper; and his siblings, Clem Raper, Glen Raper, Bill Raper, Lois Holloway, Blanche Boring, Mary Lou Anderson and Willa Mae Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughter Gail; his son-in-law Allan Abernathy; his granddaughters, Katrina Griggs (Joshua) and Alana Locke (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Lynleigh Elise Griggs, Abe Gideon Locke and Zeke Dempsey Locke; his brother Charlie Raper; and his grandsons-in-law, Josh Griggs and Jeremy Locke.
