She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frederick Hackney and Mayor; her former husband Ben Allen Sanders; and her husband Truman Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Ben Allen Sanders (Lisa) and Leigh Ann Hobgood (Brandon); and her grandchildren, Colin John Sanders, Eric Daniel Sanders and Sierra Noel Peters (Tim).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
