The passing of Gwen Skelton (Blue Ridge, Georgia), born in Eatonton, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Holden and Edith Smith Holden; and her husband Robert Houston Skelton (Hoot). She is survived by: her children, Michael C. Holden (LuAnn), Richard Skelton (Susie) and Belinda Skelton Speer (Andy); her grandchildren, Matthew Holden (Maggie), Mark Holden (Ashley), Carlyle Skelton, Adison Skelton, Brooks Skelton, William Meyer and Andrew Meyer; her sister Patricia Kovsky-Dotson; and her nieces, Cynthia Kovsky Cox and Carol Kovsky. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (7 Ewing St, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
