He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Turner and Medley Davenport Turner; his former wife Joyce Clement Turner; and his siblings, Juanita Harper, Dale Reece and Troy Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara R. Turner; his daughter Sheryl Turner Elkins (Mark Landis); and his grandchildren, Lindsey Arp Doss and Michael Arp.
