She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Thibault and Lena Raiche Thibault; her husband Herdis Bascom Petty; her daughter Deborah Kay; and her son-in-law Michal Dennis Inman.

She is survived by: her children, Douglas Petty (Kimberly Gunter) of Ball Ground, GA and Dawn; her son-in-law Donald Hunley of Howell, MI; her grandchildren, Steven Inman (Hannah), Amanda Jo O'Laughlin (Tim), Kaylyn Elizabeth Petty, Douglas Joseph Petty II, Christopher Ryan Hunley and Brandon Lee Hunley; and her great grandchildren, Hailey Inman, Skylar O'Laughlin, Evan Kayce O'Laughlin, Maverick Michael O'Laughlin, Micah Douglas Inman and Savannah Grace Inman.
