It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Simonds of Blue Ridge, Georgia, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther H. Abernathy and Elizabeth Ann Hamlin Abernathy; and her husband James Lewis Simonds. She is survived by: her sons, Byron (Kyle) and Lamar Simonds (Laura); her sister Sue Ackridge; her grandchildren, Morgan, Sheldon, Tyler Simonds and Barrett Simonds Chandler; and her great grandchildren, Katie Chandler and Josh Chandler, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Flowers are accepted or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Liz Simonds.
