She was predeceased by: her father James Lee Peeler; her son Chris Handy; and her sister Liecia Grizzle. She is survived by: her mother Marilyn Miller Cook of Blue Ridge; her husband Richard Farmer of McCaysville; her sons, Seth Hamdy (Lee Farmer) of Bethlehem, GA and James Peeler (John McClure) of Ellijay; and her sister Stephanie Peeler.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with the funeral expenses.
