He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Davis and Bertie Mae Adams Davis; his daughter Elizabeth; his son-in-law Jerry Smiley of Blue Ridge; his sons, Bruce (Jenny Davis) and Tim (Trena Davis); his sister Lou Helen Smith of Marietta; his grandchildren, Christopher, Bailey Smiley, Jared Smiley, Shelby Hodges, Will Davis and Caroline Davis; and his great grandchild Hunter Smiley. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Humane Society of Blue Ridge in memory of Mr. Davis.
