With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Danny Pierce of Blue Ridge, Georgia, born in Youngstown, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his father Billie Pierce (Loretta); his stepfather Lonis Dillard; and his grandparents, Woodrow, Reba Neal, Carl and Lola Watkins Pierce.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Dillard; his wife Sherry Rogers Pierce of Blue Ridge, GA; his daughter Courtney Proudfoot (A. J.) of Talking Rock, GA; his grandchildren, Braxtyn Green, McKinley Young, Maci Young and Owen Proudfoot; his brother Dale Pierce of Blue Ridge, GA; his niece Gracey Jones; and his nephew Jonah Pierce. He is also survived by several other family members, and dear friends.
