Betty Standridge Obituary

Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Clinton McDougal and Bessie Martin McDougal; and her husband James B. Standridge, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Carmen Bonita Ebbing, Nancy Rae Standridge, Sheila Gail Farr, James B. Standridge III and Miles Jay Standridge. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cochran/McDaniel Funeral Home McCaysville Chapel, McCaysville, Georgia. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cochran|mcDaniel Funeral Home McCaysville Chapel.
