The memory of Betty Davis Mathis of Blue Ridge, Georgia, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Clifton "Cliff" Davis and Callie "Lucille" Ammons Davis; her granddaughter Lauren Tucker; and her siblings, Doris Jean Thrasher (Bobby Thrasher), Geraldine Owenby and William Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Carter, Melissa Lay (Robert Lay) and Jeffery Mathis (Tammy Mathis); her grandchildren, Heath Sage (Emily Sage), Devin Sage (Heather Sage), Colby Carter, Luke Mathis, Jake Mathis and Lexi Benton (Christopher Benton); her great grandchildren, Nadine Sage, Miley Sage, Carson Sage, Kamden Sage, Maddox Sage, Killian Breneman, Odin Eskew, Sailor Benton, Shepherd Benton and Sunny Benton; and her siblings, Bobby Davis, Cheryl Ballew (Freddy) and Ricky Davis. She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
