With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Begley Winkle of Blue Ridge, Georgia, born in Beattyville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 18, 2020 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Begley and Bessie Begley; and her husband John Winkle. She is survived by: her children, David Winkle (Cynthia), Nancy Odom (Larry), Peggy Holzgrefe (Richard) and Jane Tuck (Ron); her grandchildren, Emily, John, Anne, Olivia, Megan, Russell, Kevin, Brandon and Erin; and her sister Maggie Merlo. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
