He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudia Odell Lowery and Inez Freeman Lowery; his siblings, Harold Lowery, Junior Lowery, Sybil Pevey, Faye Sikes and Joyce Rowe; and his close friend Tommy Hires (Bebo).
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Lee Lowery; his children, Tommy Keith Lowery, Daryl Lee Lowery (Shelley), Lori Elkins (Stanley) and Kevin Lowery (Dana); his stepchildren, Jeremy Bass (Krisey) and Candace Bass; his brother Thomas Wayne Lowery (Mary Taylor Lowery); his sister-in-law Gloria Rebennack; and also Lucy. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes – West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
