He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion W. Turner and Addie Alderman Turner; his son James Turner; and his siblings, Rita Turner Wall, Leslie Turner, Nita Turner Morgan, Marion Walter Turner, Addie Lou "Betty" Vogle, Remer Turner, Nelson Wayne Turner and Jacquelyn Turner Dickerson.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Gayanelle Turner; his daughters, Larissa Knight (Winton) and Michelle Ogle-Heidt (late Eric Heidt); his grandchildren, Brianna Hendley (Lee), Mikell Ogle, Caroline Vandiver (Caleb) and Lisa Smoak (Barry); his great grandchildren, Addie Hendley, Abigail Vandiver, Morgan Hendley, Emily Vandiver, Ellie Smoak and Jeb Smoak; and his brother Jon Ivan Turner (late Mary).
