He was predeceased by: his father Frank Ellis Altman; and his wife Rosemary Wells Altman. He is survived by: his children, Shelia Carter (Ashley Bragg) and James Von Altman, Jr. (Shannon); his grandchildren, Tara (Thomas), Courtney, Onnah and Zach; his great grandchild Adella Rose; his sisters, Fran Ritzert, Barbara Altman Kennedy, Theresa Hildebrandt, Patricia Sullinger and Carol Jean Bauner; and also Tim Carter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
