He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonah Evans Hayslip and Lela Mae Gillis Hayslip; and his siblings, Charles Hayslip, J. E. Hayslip, Bobby Hayslip and Lynn Hayslip.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Hayslip of Bloomingdale, GA, Tammy Hayslip of Statesboro, GA and Ellen Corley of Pooler, GA; and his brothers, Billy Hayslip and Alton Hayslip of Statesboro, GA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
