Schmitt; his sons-in-law, Tracey Sparks, Richard Sparks, Tammie Hall Venuti and Ben Venuti; his son Shawn Schmitt; his grandchildren, Courtney Carden (Tanner) and Krisren Sparks; his great grandchild Hendrix Carden; and his siblings, Rufus Oglesby (Lilliam), Mildred Blair and Louise Yarbrough. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
