With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Clay Whatley of Bloomingdale, Georgia, who passed away on April 2, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Whatley Jr. and Avis Kay Sheely Panter. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Griffin Whatley; his children, Kimberly Whatley Cannon (James), Jeffrey David Whatley (Kris) and Jason Clay Whatley (Lolly); his sister Linda Lea Garguilo (David) of Foster City, CA.; his siblings-in-law, Linda Kennedy, John R. Griffin (Phyllis) and Ronnie E. Griffin; and his grandchildren, Kyle Cannon, Jace Whatley, Payton Whatley, Alison Cannon, Ramsi Whatley and Kassidy Whatley.
David's favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
