It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Lewis Lovering Sr. of Blakely, Georgia, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, T. S. Lovering and Vardell Lovering; his wife Gloria Jean; and his siblings, Mae Chapman, Clarance Lovering, Ralph Lovering, Randall Lovering and Raymond Lovering.
He is survived by: his sisters, Helen and Ellen Lovering; his children, Missy Wilson and Rusty Lovering (Glenda); his grandchildren, Kendall Durham (Hunter), Brittany Glover (Brandon), Kevin Melton (Annabeth), Kyle Melton (Rebecca) and Neil Lumpkin (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Bentley Glover, Hayden Glover, Kase Melton, Mary Alice Melton, Branch Melton, Caroline Melton, Kellan Durham, Atticus Lumpkin and Harper Lumpkin; his sister Peggy Steward (Benson); and his sisters-in-law, Alice McMillan and Ann Carlton.
