It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olin Fletcher Thompson Jr. of Blakely, Georgia, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise Wiley Thompson and Olin Fletcher Thompson Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Laura Thompson Miles (Bob), Olin Fletcher Thompson, III (Jennifer) and Willard DuBose Thompson (Amelia); his grandchildren, Martha Thompson Miles, Willard Emmett Miles, Mary DuBose Miles, Olin Fletcher Thompson, IV, James Frederick Thompson, Lenna Louise Thompson, Owen DuBose Thompson and Willard Luke Thompson; and his siblings, Glyndell Thompson George (Jim) and Robert Linton Thompson (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
