She is survived by: her son Robert Murkerson (Leann); her grandchildren, Bridges, Reilly Ann, Mark Murkerson and Michael Murkerson; her great grandchildren, Connor, Savannah and Ryan of Jacksonville, FL; her grandson Christopher Murkerson (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Brayden and Mason of Columbia, AL; and her siblings, Mark Muir (Cindy) of Lindenhurst, NY, Kathy Busby (Gary) of Blakely, Eileen Miller Ragione (Richard) and Regina Muir (Jack Kennedy) of Lindenhurst.

“I just learned of Mary's passing this afternoon. I am truly devastated by this sad, sad news. I have loved Mary since I met her in summer school in 1967. She was my first girlfriend and I was her first boyfriend. We reconnected on Facebook several years ago. We were going to meet again, but, it never happened. I am so, so sorry!
