With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Pierpont Winslett Sr. of Blakely, Georgia, who passed away on November 23, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Winslett and Isabelle R. Jerguson Winslett; his former wives, Margaret Winslett and Glenda Winslett; his sister Sylvia Maxwell; and his stepdaughter Melissa Stokes.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Winslett; his children, Terri McFay (Greg) of Colquitt, Cindy Coronado of Colquitt, Mark Winslett, Jr. (Shannon) of Columbia, Callie Thompson (Travis) of Blakely, Sara Enfinger (Scottie), Bill Worsley (Karen) and Chris Stokes (Sarah); his grandchildren, Leigh McFay, Lacie Bond Wiggins, Ashton Temples, Macey Penix, Kade Coronado, Copper Coronado, Luke Winslett, Aaron Winslett, Sutton Sellers and Seely Rae Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Mattie Claire Temples, Lynn Marie Penix and Lyla Grace McFay.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home (21802 Lucile Rd, Blakely, GA 39823). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Southside Baptist Church (22240 Lucile Rd, Blakely, GA 39823).
