He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Alvin and Mildred Bragg Griffin; his wife Mary Elizabeth Hellner Griffin; and his brother Tommy Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Michael A. Griffin (Stacy) of Dothan and Pamela A. Hinson (Jeffrey) of Columbus, GA; his grandchildren, Haley Jordan (Chad), Jacob Hinson, Keely Griffin and Fallyn Griffin; his close friend Retha Cherry of Dothan; his cousin Wallace Moye; and also Floris Brooks.
