He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sealy and Susie S. Hillman. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth T. Sealy; his sons, Charles T., James F. Jr., Michele and Stanley H. Sealy; his grandchildren, Alexandra S., Clark Phelps, Caroline, James F. III, Charley, Max and Liza Sealy; and his great grandchild Adeline McBroom. He is also survived by his family, friends.
