It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Killebrew of Blakely, Georgia, born in Bainbridge, Georgia, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert R. Killebrew and Wilma Owen Killebrew Smith; his sons, James E. "Eddie" Killebrew, Jr. and Stephen "Todd" Killebrew; and his sister Ann K. Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Chapman Killebrew; and his children, Tommy Sasser of Blakely and Angel Benton (Adam) of Blakely. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members, friends.
