She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Hunter and Lillie Askew Hunter; her husband Donice Godwin; and her siblings, William Hunter, Buddy Hunter, J. H. Hunter and Geneva Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kent Mathis, Lesa of Iron City, GA, Genell Cogland, George of Martinsburg, Yvonne Parker and Chad of Blakely, GA; and her brother James Ray Hunter (Brenda). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
