With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harley Slappy of Blakely, Georgia, born in Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on June 14, 2021 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harley Slappy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Durell and Vera Elizabeth Houston Slappy; his brothers, Elmer and Stephen Slappy; and his sister-in-law Peggy Adams Slappy.
He is survived by: his wife Adrian Goocher Slappy; his son Stason Slappy (Hailey) of Woodstock, GA; his grandchild Ollie; his son Corbin Slappy (Bonnie) of Smyrna, TN; his grandsons, Henry and Theodore; and his siblings, Vivian Carney of Sanford, FL, Durell Slappy, Jr. (Betty Jean) of Headland, AL, Brian Slappy and Harmon Slappy (Lynn) of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
