He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hubert Darden, Sr. and Mertie Darden; his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Pearce Darden; his sister Mary Lee Strong; and his aunt Ada Hodges.
He is survived by: his sons, Fred H. Darden, III (Freddy) of Columbus, GA and David Darden; his siblings, Earl Darden, Yvonne Kuchenell and Darlene Carter; his grandchildren, Dr. Joshua Yelverton (Fielding), Eric Darden (Phyllis), Jennifer Bell (Cody), Daniel Darden of Austin, TX, Ashley Ricks (Rod), Ashley Daly (Chase) and Cody Turberville of Denver, CO.; and his great grandchildren, Riley Grace Roland, McKinley Ricks, Adley Ricks, Elijah Darden, Benjamin Yelverton, Pearce Yelverton, Lily Bell, Harper Daly and Anna Grace Daly.
