He was predeceased by: his father Shelly Goocher; his sister Sheila Thomas; and his great grandchild Bryan Hall, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty of Blakely; his daughters, Susan Chapman (Terry) of Wayne Goocher, JR, Amy Bates (Paul) and Tammy Hall (Bryan); and his siblings, Shelly Goocher (Peggy), Amelia Easom (George), Adrianne Slappy and Gwen Weeks (Robert). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren.
