She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Bodiford and Esther Hicks Bodiford; her husband Billy Joe Newberry; and her siblings, Othell Bush, Audrey Smith, Cecil Bodiford and Buddy Bodiford.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Sheffield (Tim), Marilyn Brackin (Charles), Marcus Newberry (Melissa) and Sharon Pickle (Cory); and her sister-in-law Sharon Bodiford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Flat Creek Baptist Church (1616 3 Notch Rd, Blakely, GA 39823). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
