She was predeceased by: her husband James Hobert Johnson; her parents, Darwin C. Powell and Alice Lena Powell; and her siblings, Arlena of Gerry, Laverne and Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Johnson (Joan) of Collinsville, AL, Sharon Fortson (Bruce) of Colquitt, GA, Teresa Bush (Wynn) of Blakely, GA and Glen Johnson of Blakely, GA.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Free Will Baptist Church (856 Zion Church Rd, Blakely, GA 39823). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
