He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Hardy and Mary Leola Hardy; his brother-in-law C. F. Starling; and his nephew Brock Starling. He is survived by: his wife Anne Ivey Hardy; his sons, Michael Hardy of Rehobeth, Johnny Hardy of Rehobeth and Ronny Hardy of Rehobeth; his granddaughter Cecilly Hardy (Josh Maye) of Dothan; his sisters, Virginia Hardy Starling of Abbeville and Ann Hardy McKnight (Albert) of Midland City; and his siblings-in-law, Hugh Ivey of Camilla and Sybil Ivey of Camilla.
